Empowerment Through Service.

Grow As You Give

We’re not just giving back—we’re growing forward.
The Brown Bag Project is more than a volunteer opportunity. It’s a movement where young people step into their power through service, reflection, and leadership. Whether you're packing meals, engaging in tough conversations about injustice, or leading a project, this is where you become the change.

What You’ll Do:

  • Seva Circles

Join our hands-on service sessions where you’ll prepare ready to eat nutritious meals, assemble hygiene kits, and write notes of kindness for neighbors experiencing hardship.

  • Critical Service Learning

Go beyond service. In guided group discussions, explore the root causes of the public health injustices we see, inequity, and how mindful action can challenge systems—not just symptoms.

  • Leadership & Identity Labs

Build your confidence, practice public speaking, and reflect on your values.

Through creative workshops, we help you grow into an advocate and an agent of change.

What You’ll Gain:

  • Service hours and a certificate of completion

  • Mindfulness and emotional intelligence tools

  • Leadership skills in speaking, organizing, and project planning

  • A sense of purpose and connection to your community
